The Meeting of the Tanks

First of all, we apologize for the lack of posts over the last week. We've had some computer issues, but now they're solved and we vow to come back to cyberspace with avengence.

Everett and I went to a birthday party this past week and we were thrilled when our friends, the Sorensons, showed up. They have three cute kids and their youngest, Tyler (a.k.a. The Tank) is almost a year old. Tyler and Everett are already building their friendship based on their common interests, which at this point is simply their love of food. Tyler is a TANK and Everett is following close behind. So while the older kids ran around and played at the park, these two little ones were content to sit in the double stroller, drool on each other and touch each other's face and arms. Ahh, simple pleasures... :-)

Tank #1 meet Tank #2

It really was love at first sight.

Hello Mr. Blue Eyes!

Ahh, the quintessential Everett picture: Mouth open

But alas, all good things must come to an end.
Slowly, but surely, they started to lose interest in each other...

Distracted by those tasty middle fingers and the fact that Everett finally figured out Tyler had no food to share.
Will and I are looking forward to many more meeting of the Tanks. We just hope to always have enough food on hand to satisfy their hunger!

It was fun to see them react to each other. You really think Everett will be eating cheeseburgers before he is a year old? Crazy!:)

Ahh I love it! I can't wait to show this to John. Oh my goodness, this is so hilarious and yes, charming indeed! The TANKS are so chubby cute if that's okay to say. They look like they will be best of friends for sure, what a good match. How handsome!

Just watch out for their big heads-my brother had the biggest bowlingball head ever and HE loved to 'lay it on you'-but it felt like a wrecking ball hitting you! :]ha haha ha, it sure makes for cute boys though. I love the 'tank' nicknames. So great. Just cracks me up!

Do you by chance have anymore pictures of the Sorenson family you could share w/ me? I just love seeing pictures of our friends and can't beleive the changes and growth in all of the kids-wow, we sure do miss all of our GameNight friends for sure! Thanks for this very uplifting and nostalgic (sp?) post! Keep up the high demand of maintaining the Tank! Its a hard job but somebody's got to do it!

Love, Chelsea
