Christmas was nice. Very low-key, but nice. I have a couple of cool stories to share, but I want to wait just a bit before sharing. Our family was extremely blessed by folks who truly embraced the Christmas spirit. So if any of our "Santas" are reading this blog - a big thank you!
We spent the Christmas holidays enjoying lots of family time. Business really slows down for Will during the last two weeks of the year, so it was nice to have him around quite a bit. We visited with family, watched movies, ate yummy food and as you can see, Juliana did quite a bit of sleeping. She slept alone in the Bumbo chair:
(Notice how her pacifier matches her outfit/blanket? Man, I'm good!)
Everett spent the holidays playing with his new bounty of toys (thanks grandparents!), but most of his joy came from finding new and interesting ways to utilize that Bumbo chair.Ahh, life's simple pleasures. Here's to a happy new year to all of you and a wonderful 2008!

Those bumbo chair pictures are hilarious!! I recently finished shannon hale's book of a thousand days. that was pretty good. Horray for 2008!!! :)
he is so silly.
I am liking The Goose Girl! I'm really interested to see where it's going (I'm not too far in - she's just now leaving the castle to travel to Kildrean(sp?) to meet her new soon-to-be husband.
And yes! The Wednesday Letters is really good and no, I haven't read his other one. Fun fact though - the author, in his acknowledgements, thanks Angie Godfry for all her help. Hello 191st ward!
the bumbo pictures are priceless. glad to see that christmas was so eventful. i am inspired by your book list to make my own monthly book list. we'll see how it goes...
I'm right there with you about whoo-rah! for 2008. I'm excited about all this new year will bring. I'm feeling like it will be a good year for us to.
You are a great optimist for sure! I hadn't really thought how exciting '08 could be but when I read your blog I rethought things, thanks! That's soo cool about all the even numbers. I prefer evens also. I hope it is awesome for you all! Wow, time flies for sure. We just celebrated our 4th year too-crazy stuff!
I'm so glad you had such a sweet Christmas and could enjoy it w/ lots of family. That's the best. The photos are so funny and sweet. Everett is such a crack up-wonder where he gets that from.
Not to freak you out or anything but I thought I saw on our news about those chairs being recalled because they can fall easily-I think people set them up on counters or something. You might want to check it out, but I don't know and I know you are very responsible parents unlike a LOT of people out there :]
Those new books look so great too. I want to read them. I saw an interview w/ the author for Wednesday Letters and its really caught my interest. I'll have to find some time to read it. Enjoy and keep up all of the greatness!
Love, Chelsea
