A Family First
I knew it would happen eventually, but I was thinking more along the lines of elementary school-aged or later. So color me surprised when, at the tender ages of 9 months and 2 and 1/2 years old, we in the Giddens household would reach the day when Juliana made the big mess and Everett was the one to clean it up. In our house, it's usually Everett making all the big messes.
That little stinker got into the pantry and promptly pulled down the Sam's Club purchase of granola bars. Trust me, she had a blast taking them out one by one.

And of course, once the damage was done she high-tailed it out of there faster than I could say, "Juliana! Did you make that mess?"
Enter older brother who saw the mess and was appalled enough to do something about it. He was just as meticulous putting them back in the box as she had been taking them out.
Just so I didn't faint in disbelief, Everett brought the box over to prove that all the bars were in fact, back in the box.
But what two year old can resist the call of 35 individually wrapped granola bars just asking to be tossed onto the floor? Yeah, apparently not this one...

cute post!! i find that my nieces and nephews like to drop things just so that i can pick them up and give it back to them, just so that they can drop it again. sometimes we adults don't realize how involved we are in the game. i'm so glad you blog; your pics are always sooo cute!
*snort*
precious. good thing everett is around to keep juliana in line.
Adorable!
And unrelated to your post, I love the *snort* comment! How original to leave a snort on someone's blog. :)!
I just wanted to say that Juliana is beautiful!!!!
hahaha. they are so funny. juliana is definitely very advanced, because sophie is only just now getting the uber-destructive mode. nothing is safe from her!
everett and juliana are both so cute!
she is so cute! she has really grown a ton!
So close, so close... Oh almost made it. But you make a point... who could resist such a fun game?
hilarious! and don't play...as soon as everett was done you KNOW you ran over and tried dumping them out yourself...it's okay though. i'd do it too.
