A Look Back - November 2005

Well, I've had one request for earlier pics of our little man, and let's face it, I'm easily persuaded and one request is all it takes. Here's some of my favorites from Everett's first month of life.

The day I went into labor and into the hospital. Look at how HUGE I was! There really is just no way to hide a 9lb 1oz baby.

Soon after the C-section. Pretty standard for a newborn - puffy and swollen.

His first, of many, naps with Mom.

Asleep under the lights to help get rid of the jaundice.

His first day home.

A picture where his eyes are actually open! And those hands - always near his cheeks and mouth.

His first bath. Only a couple of weeks old and already so modest! We like to teach good principles early around here.

*All in all, Everett's first month was pretty darn good. He's a sweet baby and didn't cry too much during those first few weeks. He didn't even cry during his first bath. What a stud!*

Jumpin' on the bandwagon

No matter how much we've tried to avoid this, it seems the time has come to join the masses and post our very own blog. It really is the most convienent way to let everyone see how cute our little boy is. And it will save us tons of time and effort because instead of sending out emails every time Everett does something cute for the camera, we'll be able to post it here, for your viewing pleasure. So, without further adieu and much fanfare, heck, you could even throw in a drumroll if you'd like, we present OUR BLOG! :-)

As you can see, Everett's perfected the wide-eyed, open mouth look. We're looking into whether or not this could be a money-making venture for us.

Everett vs. Tigger: The Great Stare-Off

Just kickin' it in his crib with his cool kicks. For this being the first time he's ever worn shoes, he looks mighty relaxed about the whole thing.

We simply had to end with this precious smile...Oh how Mommy's life has improved since that smile has come into play. That dimple just kills me!
