¡Oh Mexico!

As most of you know, Everett is a quarter Mexican. Don't be fooled by those baby blues and golden locks! Underneath that pale pale skin is a brown-skinned amigo just waiting to bust out the holas, como estas. So naturally, with today being Cinco de Mayo, Everett had to celebrate in a way fitting of his Mexican heritage.

First came the food.
Everett chose to eat breakfast with NO shirt on. Apparently he wanted to show off those guns.

Once he was sufficently full (Can there be any doubt? Check out that pudge.), it was on to getting decked out in the appropriate regalia.

That's right folks!
Everett is the proud owner of his very own Mexican National Team soccer jersey.

Very festive, ¿sí?

Among Everett's other Cinco de Mayo celebrations included chillin' on the floor with Dad,

sporting a red bib to complete the Mexican flag colors,

and of course, visiting with his Mexican grandmother. ¿What is a Cinco de Mayo celebration without a real Mexican?

¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

What a darn 'handsome' outfit! I love it! I had forgotten that Everett had mexican blood in him! What is up with the dominant genes? (Olivia didn't get mine either) Happy Cinco de Mayo & Buenos Noches (haha, I have no idea how to spell that)!

Hilarious post. I especially like how he visited a "real mexican" on cinco de mayo. But, wasn't she born in Texas? Hmmmm? Just kidding.

We indeed spent the afternoon at the hospital getting that x-ray to find out that Jacob DID NOT eat anything metal. What a bummer evening for such a fun holiday. Soooo, feliz seis de mayo!

Even though Everett does not look Latino on the outside he is on the inside and that is what matters. That is why he is already celebrating Cinco de Mayo!!

I'm not sure what's up with the dominant genes. To be honest, I'm not sure how "dominant" mine are..

And shhhh on the whole Texas thing! You'll blow Everett's cover for sure.

And yes Mom, Everett will always be an Amigo at heart.
