He is such a happy baby!
Like I said earlier, the weather was great. But it may have been a tad too bright for some people as evidenced above.
Will and I at the reception - thanks to Nathan for being our impromtu photographer.
So the newlyweds said they didn't want their car decorated, but then Logan foolishly handed over the keys after I "claimed" I needed to get something out of the car. Mu-ah-hah-hah. Fools! Props go to Will, Nathan and Amy for a job well done.
And they're off. The new Logan and Paula Roberts drive off into the night.

Uncle Kurt is a stud!

We're still working with Uncle Ty. Nice smirk T.K.!

Two VERY handsome men
Stay tuned for more photos...

(This was before he realized I had the camera in my hand.)

Who would have thought these little gems would give Everett so many hours of enjoyment?

Look at that grip!

Uh-oh, looks like I've been spotted...

Here comes the attack of the slobbery hand!

A direct hit! All attempts at covert picture-taking after this one were completely useless, as Everett had discovered the camera and would now do nothing but smile. Life sure is rough!

Look at that form! Look at that lean! Look at those CHUNKY thighs!!
Look for him at the 2026 Winter Games.

Well, rest your worries and have no fears! Will and I are NOT imposing some sort of strict discipline on our wee one. Evidently, Everett's new favorite thing is to hang his feet outside of his crib.

He tells us hanging out is what all the cool babies are doing these days. I swear! Things have sure changed since we were kids. Back then, all the cool babies stayed INside the crib. Well, I suppose it's like fashion, everything comes in cycles. By the time Everett's a daddy, his kids will be back inside the crib.
Oh, and he also digs almost turning over while he's watching his moblie. I guess he gets a better view from his side???

Happy mobile watching Everett!
Concentrating intently on his friend, Mr. Pig

Oh the joy! Our little boy is growing up right before our very eyes.
*As a side note, both Paula and Logan can attest that Mom was WAY more excited about this event than Everett. Mom's not even sure Everett realized what we did, but it sure did make Mom's day. Ahh, simple pleasures...*

Here's where we started. Look at how Santa looms over Everett.

The cheeks look a bit fuller...

The Buddha belly is starting to form, and I mean just barely.

Ah, that tricky camera angle I always try to avoid, for this reason right here. Do those cheeks look chubbier than the previous picture or what?

But as they say, the proof is in the pudding. Or is it formula? (Actually, for those with a keen eye, there is a bit of both, thanks to a Daddy who got in big trouble shortly after this picture was taken!)

Now keep in mind that the material is bunching right around his mid-section, so it could be a bit deceiving, but don't you think his face is looking fuller?

Just so there's no confusion!
So then I tried to get a good picture of him in the entire outfit. I usually pose Everett for pictures by leaning him up against the back of his crib. Since he doesn't have the greatest sense of balance just yet, we usually end up with a few pictures like the following:
Going...
Going...
Gone!

But no matter how many times I pose him, and how many times he falls over, I usually end up with quite a few pictures of that cute grin! (Now note the drool stains.)
