A Nose for Trouble

The crime scene:

The weapon:

The Perp:

Today at approximately 12:34 pm EST, a blonde haired, brown eyed, quarter Mexican, almost 2 year old male was seen at Chipotle with a dime sized dried grape (otherwise known as a raisin) lodged in his right nasal cavity. How his supervisors (otherwise known as his mom and grandmother) let this unfortunate accident occur is still up to the authorities. Breathing through the nasal cavity became strained as snot and other mucus were subsequently smeared across the perp's nose. (yuck!)

At approximately 1:45 pm EST, a female pediatrician unlodged said raisin and breathing resumed as normal. The lollipop successfully aided in the breathing process.

No charges were filed.

OH my goodness Natalie!! That does not sound too fun (for you at least). I'm glad the pediatrician was able to get the raisin out. One of Ben's family's favorite stories is when young Ben (not sure how old he was exactly) got mad at his little brother and shoved a grape up his nose.

You crack us up! I read this out loud to John. So funny and creative and so true. I'm so sorry your lovely YUMMY lunch got ruined. (oh they built a Chipolte's right here recently) I'm really glad they got the rasin out and everyone is ok. Don't worry, believe me its a kid thing.

Can you believe that me, Chelsea, stuck a lovely green pea up her nose and her very experienced nurse mom couldn't remove it so she had to very hesitantly and quite embarressingly take me to her work/hospital and get it removed by her coworkers! Yeah, I think she loves me. My poor mom :] Hopefully he'll learn his lesson and not try it again!

Love, Chelsea

Oh, that is hilarious! I don't even want to think about the process of getting that raisin out. Yikes.

And allow me to give you something to be grateful for at this time of giving thanks. A friend of mine stuck a bit of foam rubber up her nose when she was 3 or 4 and no one realized until it started stinking. Yes, you heard me, stinking. Yay for catching it quickly. My best to the patient/perp.

That's hilarious! My brothers always managed to get stuff stuck up their noses. Reminds me of that movie "One Fine Day" with George Clooney and Michelle Pfeiffer where the kid gets everything stuck in his nose! Glad everything is ok. :)
